It takes just few minutes to mix it up, then just 60 seconds to cook.
And the result is a soft, spongy dough spiraled with cinnamon butter.
What’s In Microwave 60 Second Cinnamon Rolls?
These rolls could not be simpler to put together. You’ll need:
- Greek or plain yoghurt (you can also use sweet yoghurt if you want to)
- Self raising flour
- Butter
- Cinnamon
- Brown Sugar (you can sub caster sugar or even raw sugar)
A wide mouth, straight mug will give the best results and allow the dough to sit in without being too squashed.
How To Eat These Delicious Microwave Cinnamon Rolls
You can eat your delicious, spongy microwave cinnamon roll just as it is or try some of these next level toppings. Just make sure you let it cool a little before you add the topping or it will melt and disappear!
- Sweet vanilla yoghurt sprinkled with cinnamon
- Vanilla cream cheese frosting
- Simple sugar glaze
- Vanilla buttercream icing

Mix the Greek yoghurt and self raising flour in a microwave safe mug.
Once it's formed a dough, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface and form into a flat sausage shape.
Spread the dough with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Roll the dough up into a tight scroll and place into your mug.
Microwave for 60 seconds. It may need a few more seconds if your microwave is a lower wattage.
Once your scroll is cooked, carefully remove from your mug. Let it cool a little and add your desired toppings.
