Yields1 Serving
Prep Time1 hrCook Time12 hrsTotal Time13 hrs

 1000 g full cream milk
100 g full cream milk powder
120 g plain starter yoghurt (see recipe notes)
OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS
 40 g sugar
 1 tbsp Vanilla paste
 50 g cream

TM31 INSTRUCTIONS
1

Please note that you cannot double the recipe in the TM31

Place milk, milk powder (and sugar and vanilla and cream if you're using) into the bowl and heat 25 minutes/90 degrees/speed 3.

2

Remove bowl and allow mixture to cool in the bowl to 37 degrees. It's really important that it's not hotter than 37 degrees.

3

Replace your bowl on the Thermomix base and add the yoghurt starter to your mixture. Heat for 20 minutes/37 degrees/speed 1.

4

While your yoghurt is cooking, pour boiling water into your Thermoserver or into a large glass jar. Place the lid onto your Thermoserver.

5

When the timer is finished, empty your Thermoserver and dry thoroughly. Pour the mixture from your Thermomix into your Thermoserver.

6

Place the lid onto your Thermoserver. Wrap your Thermoserver in a towel to keep the heat in. Allow your yoghurt to sit undisturbed for 8 to 12 hours.

7

Once your yoghurt has finished fermenting, place into a glass jar and store in the fridge. If you use a clean spoon every time you scoop your yoghurt out, it should last around 3 weeks in the fridge.
